Computer Facilities
Taiwan-ARC currently has eight Linux computing nodes (almat1, almat2, almat3, almat4, almat5, almat6, almat7, and almat8). In addition, 'acdc1' (Linux desktop) is located in the 13th Floor observation room. The Lustre File system and the other machines are located in the B3 server room. ALMA software is available on all machines. See the tables below for the specifications of computers and disk arrays available to ALMA users. If you need a user account, please send your request to arc asiaa.sinica.edu.tw. The Lustre File System is used for data reduction. The NFS disk array is used for longer term local data storage.
